Description
These Stylus are often used in machine tool sensors for determining the position of work pieces or in progress measurement.
The ceramic shaft is light and very stiff and can be used as a predetermined breaking point, or collision protection and the shaft will break immediately in the event of a collision and can protect the sensor from damage.
Ceramic is usually used for long styli thanks to its mass.
